Powering the nation
with safe, reliable and sustainable energy

Udenna's UC38 business is a 45% stakeholder in the Malampaya Deep Water to Gas Project, which delivers a fifth of the Philippines' rapidly growing electricity needs. The cleaner-burning natural gas from Malampaya supplies five power plants in Luzon with a combined capacity of 3,200 megawatts.

As a Consortium partner, UC38 plays a key role in the continued safe, reliable, and sustainable supply of energy from Malampaya together with Shell Philippines Exploration (SPEX), the current operator, and the Philippine National Oil Company – Exploration Corporation (PNOC-EC).

UPSTREAM SAFETY AND RELIABILITY

Safety and reliability is our top priority across all of our upstream activities. We bring extensive safety and technical leadership through our team of experienced professionals at UC38, who have deep knowledge of the Malampaya asset and its stakeholders.

ENERGY BY FILIPINOS FOR FILIPINOS

We are committed to developing energy infrastructure that is owned and operated by Filipinos, for Filipinos. We are focused on generating more energy sector jobs for local talent and supply chain opportunities for local businesses as we expand our upstream operations.

ACCELERATING GROWTH AND LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY

UC38 has an ambitious agenda to expand existing energy supplies to power the nation safely, reliably and sustainably for decades to come. This includes exploring and developing untapped resources at Malampaya, exploring other offshore areas as well developing LNG and renewable energy opportunities.

SUCCESS THROUGH PARTNERSHIP
