DITO Telecommunity expands service coverage to 21 more cities, enters Luzon

DITO Telecommunity, the third major player in the Philippine telecommunications industry, after a successful commercial launch last March 8 in 15 selected cities in Visayas and Mindanao, announced the inclusion of 21 more cities starting April 16, 2021.

Atty. Adel Tamano, the Chief Administrative Officer of DITO, said, "We are very excited to announce that in just a few weeks after our commercial launch in Cebu and Davao, more Filipinos can now experience stronger and reliable connectivity with DITO's Luzon expansion."

The DITO CAO mentioned that, included in the DITO expansion are the provinces of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, and General Santos; and that sim cards are now available in more than 300-partner stores, and will be available very soon in three DITO-owned stores in Cebu and Davao.

The specific areas where DITO services are now available are as follows:

16.  Talavera (Nueva Ecija)

17.  Cabanatuan City (Nueva Ecija)

18.  Tarlac City (Tarlac)

19.  Capas (Tarlac)

Atty. Adel Tamano reiterated what was said on March 8 during the launch that the successful launch of DITO is an example of how cooperation, and active collaboration of government and private corporations, is key to bring about true recovery led by advancements in the realm of communications and connectivity.
