Food lovers in Northern Luzon have another reason to celebrate! Wendy’s, the American fast-food giant, has recently opened its first store with a drive-thru service in Dagupan City.
Present during the opening of the store at Jose De Venecia Extension were Dagupan City Mayor Marc Brian Lim, Wenphil Corporation president Joey Garcia, Wendy’s Dagupan sub-franchisee Brittany Tomagos, Joseph Lucero, and Wendy’s APAMEA customer experience director S.J. Wong.
“Filipinos’ lifestyles have changed over the years. It seems like everyone’s in a hurry to accomplish something, and some have little time to spare for mealtimes that they choose to just drive through instead of sitting down inside a restaurant,” said Brittany Tomagos. “Wendy’s understands this need, so we decided to open a drive-thru store. Our first one in Dagupan will cater to the provincial market of Northern Luzon, as well as the many travelers who pass by the area for a quick stopover.”
According to Mayor Lim, the new branch is a welcome development to the city as this also helps provide employment to people in Dagupan, one of the major financial and economic hubs in Northern Luzon.
